Position Summary
Neonline Logistics is seeking an experienced West Coast Regional Operations Manager to oversee and grow operations across the Western United States. This role is responsible for leading multiple branches, driving operational excellence, supporting business development, and ensuring exceptional service for time-critical, expedited, air freight, pharmaceutical, and temperature-controlled transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across all West Coast branches.
- Manage Branch Managers, Operations Managers, Dispatch Managers, and regional operations teams.
- Drive regional revenue growth, profitability, and operational performance.
- Oversee pricing and quoting for same-day courier, expedited ground, dedicated transportation, project logistics, airport recoveries, white glove, and temperature-controlled shipments.
- Support the Sales team with operational planning, customer implementations, RFPs, and strategic accounts.
- Develop and standardize SOPs, workflows, KPIs, and best practices across all locations.
- Improve dispatch efficiency, routing, fleet utilization, and service performance.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop regional leadership and operations teams.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, vendors, airlines, and transportation partners.
- Ensure compliance with TSA, airport cargo procedures, chain of custody, DOT, customer SOPs, and company policies.
- Oversee fleet maintenance schedules, vendor performance, and equipment readiness.
- Analyze branch performance, identify growth opportunities, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
- Travel regularly to support branch operations, customer meetings, and new market expansion.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of transportation, courier, or logistics operations experience.
- 5+ years managing multiple branches or regional operations.
- Strong knowledge of same-day courier, expedited ground, dedicated transportation, and project logistics.
- Experience with air freight, airport cargo operations, pharmaceutical logistics, and temperature-controlled transportation.
- Proven leadership experience managing branch managers and large operations teams.
- Strong financial, operational, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the West Coast.
